Saudi Electronic University

        SEU, or the Saudi Electronic University, is one of the newest universities, that belongs to the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia.  It was established by a great will and a Royal decree in 2011 by a great leader, late King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.  It is a governmental, independent educational institution that applies the concept of blended learning.  The blended learning concept depends on the two educational styles, the traditional education and the modern, online education.  It is a combination of two different eras of education, the old one and the new one.  SEU has offered a golden opportunity for those who left education early and eager to return to classes to get a prestigious and accredited university degree. 

 

        To me, as a working adult, married with kids and busy schedule, SEU has offered me a great chance to get my long life dream degree in Information Technology.  Technology and computing have been a passion for my whole life since my early age in the 1980s.  SEU really revived my dream of getting such university degree in IT.  However, the study in SEU is quite wonderful, but it is quite demanding too.  Someone might think it is so easy because you just set most of the time in front your computer and get lectures and other materials.  And worse, someone else might think when you only attend actual lectures once per week it is going to be easy and funny.  No way.  It is not that easy and it is not that difficult if you act seriously and manage your time!
